Terms of Service
The Internet Void (“the Service”) is an interactive entertainment website operated for amusement. By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
The Service is intended for persons aged 18 years or older. By using the Service you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe the user is underage.
2. Description of the Service
The Service lets visitors submit text and media “sacrifices” that are displayed to other visitors and visualised inside a real-time 3D scene. The Service issues an optional virtual balance (“Balance”) that can be spent on in-app actions. The Balance is a purely virtual feature of the Service.
3. Virtual goods — no cash value
- The Balance and all in-app items are virtual goods with no cash value, no monetary equivalent, and no obligation on our part to redeem them for money, goods, or services.
- The Balance cannot be transferred, sold, or withdrawn by users.
- Spending the Balance is final. Refund requests for unspent Balance are handled under the Refund Policy.
4. Payments
- Balance top-ups are processed by independent third-party cryptocurrency payment processors. We do not operate the blockchain and do not control network fees or confirmation times.
- Blockchain transactions are irreversible. You are responsible for sending the correct amount to the correct network address shown at checkout.
- Prices are displayed in US dollars; the processor converts to the selected cryptocurrency at its own rate, including any fees it charges.
5. Accounts and conduct
- You may use the Service as a guest or sign in with a supported third-party account (Google or an Ethereum wallet). You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You may not use the Service to submit unlawful, infringing, hateful, or malicious content; to interfere with the Service; or to attempt unauthorised access to any system or data.
- We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for other users or the Service.
6. Anti-money-laundering cooperation
Balance top-ups and any operational payouts we enable are subject to compliance checks. We may request identity information and may refuse, hold, or reverse transactions where required by applicable law or by our payment processors’ policies. Attempts to use the Service for money laundering, fraud, or sanctions evasion are prohibited and may be reported to the competent authorities.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, 3D assets, text, and branding, is protected by intellectual-property law. Visitors retain rights in the content they submit, and grant us a non-exclusive licence to host and display it as part of the Service.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
- The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or cryptocurrency value, arising from use of the Service.
- Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
